In just two short years, Places + Faces has grown into a brand known for documenting the youth culture through the lens of a film camera. Aside from the wide range of famous faces the Ciesay and Soulz have captured, P+F successfully branched out into clothing, attracting the attention from some of the biggest names in Hip-Hop culture. Using their access, P+F have masterfully captured the culture from an insiders perspective, gaining them respect within the industry.

But they haven't stopped there, having recently published a 60-page zine, with more physical work on the way, we caught up with Places + Faces' Ciesay, AKA AUX God, to find out more about the recent announcement of the first ever P+F exhibition right here in London between October 16 and October 18, at Kachette, Shoreditch. The exhibition is held in partnership with HighSnobiety and Bench.

COZY MAG: This exhibition is a long time coming, how long did it take you to put together?

P+F's CIESAY: I've had the idea for a while to do one in London but never felt like I was ready by this year was the 2 year anniversary for P+F so thought it was only right and I've been planning and putting this show together for a couple months now.

CM: Got any advice for young shooters looking to gain recognition in photography?

P+F's CIESAY: Have your own style and stick with it.

CM: How does it feel to be showcasing your work in LDN?

P+F's CIESAY: It's awesome, I've live in London so being able to showcase my work in my city is a great feeling.

CM: What's your favourite $hot?

P+F's CIESAY: They change everyday but right now it a Landscape I took of Paris and you can see the city and the Eiffel Tower in the background.

CM: Do you plan to exhibit anywhere else?

P+F's CIESAY: Yeah I think I'm doing An exhibition in Japan soon so that should be pretty cool too.

CM: What's next for PLACES +FACES?

P+F's CIESAY: Probably a hardback photo-book.
