East London remains the Mecca for the capital’s urban culture and some of the scene’s best artists have been brought up somewhere in between the boroughs of E1 to E98. One of the latest names to further add to the prestige that East London possesses is Rageouz and his latest track, Eastside, is a throwback to the sonic essence of hip hop.

It’s mellow boom-bap production, created by Juan June Medrano, has an uncluttered ambience that's immediately nostalgic. And Rageouz’s flow is instantly recognisable even if you’re unfamiliar with his music. The visuals are equally classic, with languidly smooth shots of the city and Rageouz’s team, that portray the everyday scenes of the London’s streets that have influenced his story. With an EP due to drop in the first quarter of 2015, all the signs so far indicate that it’ll be nothing but quality. Stay locked for much more.
