Tjalf Sparnaay is an artist from the Netherlands who specialises in "photorealistic" paintings. Sparnaay's style, known as "mega realism" comes from the hyperrealism movement. Sparnaay's enourmous works bring vibrancy and detail to the most mundane objects- which as the artist says, is "intended to enable the viewer to experience the reality again, again letting discover the essence of the object that has become so commonplace."
